Associate, Cash Application

By joining us as an Associate, Cash Application you will be responsible for the daily processing and reconciliation of Emerson's business unit's invoices., Accounts Payable file and Business Unit's reports. You will perform crucial job duties and will be trained by counterparts in the US and in Manila on their systems and processes.
In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people who will guide you in building your career in Credit and Collections. You will work closely with the Manila Team and interact directly with Emerson's external and internal customers may it be by phone or email.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Responsible in posting of payments made by customers at Receivables Edge (JP Morgan) to ERP system (Elyria and Greenlee)
Responsible in Keying receipts into the Ridgid portal
Uploading deposits from portal to JDE (JD Edwards)
Balancing / disposition (proper allocation of write-off adjustments, unearned discounts, chargebacks and deductions)
Posting of payments made by customers at HSBC to ERP system (Mexico Cash)
Manual posting of receipts for IMARK and AD
Credit Reference- . Responding to emails received for credit reference requests
Keying of deduction details in DataServ
Member Approvals - Obtaining member approval numbers from corporate stores through their respective websites
Responsible for daily cash summary, batch and deposit details report for Elyria and Greenlee
Second review of all the payments made
Provides reports/analysis if required by EFS Management or business unit contacts
Be able to perform other duties as may be assigned
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any Business-related course
With at least one (1) year of work experience in accounts payable, cash application or related accounting field
Above Average Communication Skills - Written and Verbal
Knowledgeable in MS Office application -EXCEL
Practical knowledge of Oracle or other ERP (SAP, JD Edwards, etc), a plus
