THE OPPORTUNITY
Plan International is implementing a project to address the COVID-19 pandemic in Central Mindanao, Philippines. The project aims to contribute to the prevention and mitigation of the further spread of COVID-19 and to alleviate the human suffering of the most affected, including girls and women, and the most vulnerable sectors.
The Cash and Voucher Clerk will conduct clerical work related to cash and voucher programming. She/he will finalize the encoding of the beneficiary list to the database system and is responsible for generating the individual ID of beneficiaries. The person will also keep the maintenance of the database by constantly updating and generating information required for pay-outs, food distribution, and reporting requirements. This is for a six-month assignment.
*Plan International is a development and humanitarian organization. In exceptional cases, you will be asked to support emergency response activities in the communities in your assigned covered areas.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful in the role you will need among other things:
Graduate of any business-related four-year course.
Experience in cash programming activities is an advantage
Has relevant experience in developing and maintaining a beneficiary database system.
Has experience in generating summative reports from the beneficiary database and other relevant tools.
Skills in the use of Microsoft Office are highly desirable.
Previous work experience in similar projects and or organizations is an advantage.
