Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Senior Full Stack Developer you will be a key technologist on the team, responsible for driving forward the Buildxact product by bringing your knowledge and experience to create new greenfield products and enhance existing systems.
The key domains we need you to own and 'nail' include:
Design, build and deliver new key product features and functionality and enhance and maintain existing product capabilities
Promote and enhance best practices within the development team
Deliver all work in a timely fashion and in accordance with business priorities
Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, particularly around the .NET ecosystem, and suggest ways in which the Buildxact systems can be enhanced using newer tech
Build product features that are extensible, scalable, and adhere to best practices
You will also:
Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the Buildxact product architecture
Enhance and promote automated testing of code changes
Act as a mentor to other team members, continually striving to lift the technical capability of the team
Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested before delivery to QA
Use your technical expertise to support and assist roadmap planning and estimation of proposed features
Teamwork:
Engage in regular team meetings, stand-ups, and planning sessions
Offer advice and opinions on technical approaches, but always be happy to compromise
Collaborate with your peers to deliver work and own the outputs of the sprint as a team

Requirements
When hiring, we look for the following skills:
7+ years experience as a software engineer, ideally within SaaS and cloud-first businesses
Strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and the .NET ecosystem, as well as experience with Javascript, CSS and front-end frameworks.
Strong software design and architecture knowledge, including microservices
Experience with Azure or AWS, and an understanding of cloud architecture options
Understanding of relational databases and, ideally, NoSQL databases
Experience configuring and managing CI/CD tools, such as TeamCity and Octopus Deploy
Experience with any of the following would be a bonus: Angular, Typescript, Babel, mobile-first web design, hybrid mobile apps, globalization.
A positive, can-do attitude, always eager to help out and see things from the customer's perspective
Strong experience developing large, complex web applications
Proven experience working within high performance, multi-disciplinary teams in Agile environments
