Market Job Description About Wells Fargo Philippines enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Operations, Risk and Compliance, Project Management, Finance & Accounting and Data Analytics. We operate in Taguig City, Metro Manila. Department Overview Wells Fargo Commercial Capital's Procedures & Governance Team has U.S.-based technical writers that assist the seven WFCC businesses with publishing procedures, references, forms, and links. The technical writers edit, format, apply styles, brand, and publish the documentation on OpenText portals for each business. They migrate content from various repositories or assist in creating new content, complete requested updates to published content, and facilitate biennial review certification of all content with the corresponding owners. The Manila publishing team was created to assist the U.S. team with production, due to high work volumes and continued migration efforts. About the Role The Business Support Manager manages a team of procedure writer/publishers and partners with the U.S team manager to meet production needs efficiently. Functions managed may include: work assignments, resource monitoring and allocation, systems/change initiatives, business continuity planning, SLA monitoring, reporting and analysis, process improvement, quality management, MBO development, communications, financial control/budgeting oversight (example: monitoring business expenses) and/or team member processing (example: planning focal review). Responsibilities Internally known as Business Support Manager 1. Manages, directly and through subordinates, operational activities for a large single functional unit or multiple sections. Directs nonexempt staff or a small entry-level exempt staff. Works independently on moderately complex issues and projects. Manages ongoing processing efforts and is accountable to manager for unit budget. The Business Support Manager, manages a team who leads diverse support functions and/or operations/production oversight for 1-2 units/departments within a business group. Coordinate with U.S. team to assign work requests, provide status and progress updates, and utilize team capacity efficiently. Perform quality checks on completed work and monitor SLA adherence. Report various metrics as requested by management and U.S. team manager (KPIs including volumes, turnaround times, quality, utilization, etc.) Collaborate with U.S. team and technology partners to onboard new procedure writer/publishers and execute the training and mentoring program. Provide coaching and guidance to team. Leverage U.S. team's business and client knowledge to resolve client concerns and escalate to U.S. team manager as needed. Complete the standard training program for procedure writer/publishers to gain understanding of the team's day-to-day work and to be able to assess quality, critical errors, and training needs. Hold team meetings, one on one meetings, trainings as needed Manage simple to moderately complex content in OpenText within established publishing guidelines. Market Skills and Certifications Qualifications: Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree preferably in a communication focused field such as English, Communications or Journalism 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support management, project management, business operations or strategic planning 1+ years of leadership experience Experience researching and preparing written communications Amenable to work on night shift (9pm-6am) Leadership Expectations at Wells Fargo As a Team Member manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
