As a Business Intelligence/Data Operations Analyst your primary function will be to keep things running as expected, whilst making every effort to improve things whenever possible. You will be doing the following:
A keen eye for on reporting related issues and take initiative for resolving them
Power BI Gateway Administration
Power BI Datasets/Schedules Setup
Power BI Application Access
SSRS Distribution Lists/Catalogue/Access/ maintenance
Data reconciliation across PBI/SSRS/Cubes
Report monitoring
Data extraction using SQL
Logging incidents, capturing all relevant details
Updating and finding resolutions to existing incidents
Liaising between different departments
Skills required:
Strong SQL, SSRS and Power BI skills
Some programming experience/skills
The ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
Experience of working in a fast paced operational environment
Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to organize and prioritize a number of activities
