Job Description
The Business Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating new opportunities through leads generation, prospect nurturing, and marketing activities. The right candidate will be one who works well autonomously and remotely with a geographically diverse team, displays curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative connections with clients.
The right candidate will also understand how to assess the company's needs and cater to the Business Development outreach to each all new business prospects across multiple channels.
Tasks and Responsibilities

-Business Development Management
-Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
-Generate leads through current best practice business acquisition methods
-Be responsible for engaging and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams and/or Talent team as required
-Create target prospects lists, companies, contacts, deals and penetrate key accounts through CRM (Hubspot). Rock solid record keeping of all progress of business development activities in CRM.
-Turn Cold leads into prospects generated by a variety of outside lead sources.
-Identify key players and decision-makers, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle.
-Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle.
-Set appointments for business development by sharing the booking links for the recruitment & talent team when a lead reaches a closed won stage.
-Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other sales lead source channels
-Nurture new leads by engaging and developing prospects until they are ready to enter the sales lifecycle and transition to the recruitment and talent team.
-Support CEO to drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences.
-Collaborate with other Change Republic team members on strategic sales approach, and implementation of smart workplace solutions to automate and nurture leads through workflows, landing pages, and campaigns.
-Ensure successful follow through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application.
Marketing / Campaign Management
-Follow, develop, evolve and ultimately take ownership of strategic marketing plan and day-to-day marketing activities across all channels to position the company as a leader and authority in their field.
-Create and execute a solid social media marketing strategy - mostly focused on LinkedIn initially. Using tools such as Canva for creating engaging, relevant and valuable content that is carefully planned and scheduled.
-Creation and execution of an engagement strategy for LinkedIn and Facebook to increase sign ups & leads, drive traffic to the website and enhance brand awareness.
-With support from the team, devise strong, highly converting email marketing sequences to engage and re-engage both new and existing leads.
-Taking initiative to bring new marketing campaigns and ideas to the team and presenting them for approval on a regular basis.
Requirements
This position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship building selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
-3+ year of successful experience in telemarketing, preferably in HR Consultancy / Change Management / Sales
-Successful track record in end-to-end business development-beginning in leads generation
-Background in Marketing and Campaign Management
-Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
-Demonstrated success in prospecting.
-Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.
-High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
-Canva and/or basic graphic design skills (and an eye for quality) for social media content creation are highly desirable.
-Experience with Hubspot or similar platforms would be highly advantageous.
-Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
