Job Description
A Business Developer's responsibility is to prospect for positive engagement opportunities for Quest. Business Developers work within an assigned territory or company assignment to uncover new opportunities and build relationships with customers for future engagements and expansion of Quest offerings. Business Developers identify, nurture and support opportunity progress with both new and existing customers. Business Developers record all customer efforts and communication within Quest's CRM. Business Developers collaborate with internal departments to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers at Quest.
Qualifications
Meet and/or exceed individual Business Development goals for appointments and workshops for Quest
Become an expert in managing your customer pipeline within Saleslogix
Be an integral and producing part of the Quest Sales Team, bringing new opportunities to Quest
Drive opportunities and Quest assessments/workshops, by creating new touch points with customers and building productive customer relationships through long-term nurture process
Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
Uncover and capture key account information to leverage in nurture efforts, such as: ongoing or new projects, decision makers, pain points, expansions, etc.
Partner with Marketing to drive attendance to seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing related events as needed
Diligently enter and update all data pertaining to each customer/account/opportunity in Quest's CRM, SLX
Send all engagement opportunities (Opps) to manager and with approval, to CEO for next steps
Maintain accurate monthly commission reports and time cards and send to Business Development Manager for approval
The incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as apparent or assigned
This position is a non-exempt position and reports to the Business Development Manager
Work Schedule
Mon-Fri: 7am to 4pm; night and weekend shift may be needed
