The Product Development and Sales Officer will be responsible in supporting the Product Development Manager in developing new products as well as the acquisition of new opportunities, building the pipeline, developing relationships with customers, and acquiring projects that will address the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
New Product Development
Supports the Product Development Manager by providing/gathering market insights and relevant target customer information that are quantitative and qualitative in nature to help in developing the 4Ps of new products/solutions and services in our portfolio
Research on relevant information that will help derive the 4Ps of the new products/solutions and services that is being developed
Project Acquisition and Pipeline Building
Responsible for the identification and generation of leads needed to build the pipeline for products/solutions and services developed.
Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers and key decisionmakers and offers solutions through our roster of services and bundled technologies.
Prepares proposals, represents the company and presents them, closes the contracts to secure projects based on target goals set by the organization
Monitors and reports the status of each customer account on a regular basis from the beginning of the sales cycle until the contract is closed. He ensures that the status of these accounts progresses and achieves identified milestones relevant to the project.
Searches for opportunities to generate leads through strategic sales and marketing efforts that will help increase our pipeline. This includes but is not limited to executing marketing tactics, marketing partnerships, participation in customer-centric events where we can promote our products/solutions and services directly to our potential customers.
Proposals and Contracts
Gathers pertinent data needed to develop a business case for target customers, submits it to the Product Development Manager for analysis that will be the basis for the proposal.
Designs and creates proposals based on the technical analysis report and presents it to the client.
Regulatory Knowledge
Must understand regulatory compliance rules and regulations mandated by the key government agencies such as DOE, ERC, NEA, etc, in relation to RE transactions and projects.
Ensures that we comply with these regulations when closing contracts and managing projects together with customers.
University degree/graduate of Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related fields
At least 1 year working experience in any of the following: sales, marketing, business development, project acquisition, project management, Customer/client relations in the Power Sector, IT Sector, Telecommunications, Government Agencies such as DOE, ERC
