About the Business Development Manager - Medical Assistance Company Role:
The Business Development Manager is directly responsible for developing new business in newly developed market segments of the Philippine market. The BDM will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing Philippines to identify profitable and sustainable new prospects for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee research markets in the given coverage area and monitor key trends so as to identify new vertical markets in the responsible segment to promote the entire range of the company's services and form the basis for new products/services
Develop new customer prospecting plans which focus on the tactical aspects of acquiring new
prospects and closing sales in line with and to exceed budgeted sales targets * Provide top-level account management of existing clients by adopting a consultative sales approach and leveraging opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell the range of the company's services
Focus on building long-term, mutually beneficial business relationships to assist in increasing the yield per client through aggressive relationship marketing
To succeed in this Business Development Manager - Medical Assistance Company role, you must have strong background in doing B2B solution-selling and with pharmaceutical experience.
Key Requirements:
Graduate of at least a four-year course
Track record of success in exceeding new B2B business sales targets of a minimum of five years
International experience with experience dealing with blue- chip clients - global companies, leading Philippines conglomerates (e.g. SM, Metro Pacific etc.), leading tech, media, telcos, EMI projects, etc. is ideal
Demonstrated success of ability to work with clients to understand their needs and deliver complex solutions to address those needs
Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
Demonstrated success in using communication and negotiation skills
