Develop and diversify the business so that income increases and the future and growth of the organization are guaranteed. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Developing growth strategies and plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Increasing client base
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Writing business proposals
Negotiating with stakeholders
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and internationally
Drafting and reviewing contracts

Experience in Business Development, Economics or Finance, Marketing
High-level communication skills with good persuasion skills/techniques

Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
