The tasks for the Business Development role would be:
Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies. Perform appointment setting and other general cold contacting
Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Managers
Maintain and organize an annual book of business
Use email marketing tools and CRM
Manage and maintain pipeline with tech account managers
Handle sales process from discovery, evaluation, solution and potentially close
Communicate closely with internal sales support managers
Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of key technologies with an expansive list of technology solutions
Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers and prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
Experience in appointment setting and cold calling.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Willing to work in PST time.
