Business Process Analyst
Rotating schedule (Mid-shift and Night shift)

Do you want to work on a highly cross-functional team of Business Development (BD), Business Intelligence (BI), Sales, Finance, and Product to solve complex business problems through data?
We are looking for a talented, driven, self-directed Business Analyst to join an organization that is responsible for driving adoption of the AWS platform by large enterprise customers, industry verticals, and specialized sales. As a business analyst, you will use your analytical mind to drive operations, strategy, and planning across key go-to-market teams. You will ensure that we are capturing and surfacing the right data and information to make informed business decisions, working closely with members of the BD, Product, and Sales teams. You will collaborate with engineers to build self-service reports and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses. You are analytical with strong business acumen and detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate has worked in depth in identifying business insights through data analysis, including experience extracting and manipulating data using SQL, leveraging BI services such as QuickSight and Tableau for data analysis, and producing digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The candidate should also have strong communication and project management skills, enabling them to work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape analytical deliverables. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to work cross-organizationally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field
3+ years of industry experience in data analytics, financial/business planning, or sales operations.
Experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database
Proficiency in BI Platforms (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, others) and Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
Proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with "Big Data"
Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis
Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights
Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
