As a Business Analyst you will be working within the Change Delivery Department, you will work with colleagues and other stakeholders to investigate operational issues, problems and new opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems.
You'll also assist in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, identifying available options for consideration.
The day to day:
Support the Group Digital Office by working with colleagues and other stakeholders to investigate and model business functions, business processes, information flows and data structures;
Investigate operational issues, problems and new opportunities; seeking effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems of interest. Assisting in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, and identifying available options;
Specify data, data objects and information flows that align with the needs of the business;
Produce business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles in line with organisational standards using appropriate tools, for example;

Specification Documentation
Development of test plan and support scripts and KPI reporting
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, presenting findings and actions both verbally and in writing to the business;
Assist in defining user acceptance tests for new or improved business processes and IT systems;
Assist in defining holistic solutions that address organisational, people, processes, information and technology aspects; justifying the solutions when supporting the development of a business case for a business change initiative.
Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to options presented
Assess the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern
Support staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
Ensure that reengineered processes are adequately defined to the point that they can be put forward for a robust automation readiness assessment
Qualifications
What you need to succeed:
2+ Years Business Analysis experience within an automation environment, demonstrating the skills and experience to successfully perform the role
Business Analysis Qualification
Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers and suppliers
'Can do' attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
Ability to take initiative and self-manage
Experience of producing/validating key delivery/project documents such as, Requirements Documents, Specification Documents, Process Definitions & Process Maps ('As Is' & 'To Be'), Test Strategies and Test Scripts
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and challenges, demonstrating strong analytical ability as well as providing informed insights
Good degree of literacy in applications such as; MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
Fluent in English Language
