The Assistant Brand Manager helps oversee the over-all brand performance and manages/monitors
the strategic merchandising & marketing and business of brands to ensure that target objectives are
met.
Collaborates with different departments to ensure the team is set to achieve objectives.
Brand managers (BM/ ABM/ Brand Officers) are the guardians of the brand and are responsible for
ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under their brand resonate with
current and potential customers.
Brand managers act as brand owners ensuring the identity, personality, tone and equity of the brand
are intact
Formulates annual business/brand plans to set brand directions for the assigned brands
Attends global conferences and work with the Merchandising Team on correspondence to foreign principals
Works with merchandising on product selection for season buys and merchandise mix
Monitors performance of distribution channels and recommends appropriate actions
Conceptualizes, implements and evaluates programs to build the brand
Coordinates and negotiates with third advertising/third-party agencies for thematic campaigns.
Collaborates with different departments to ensure the team is set to achieve objectives.
Keeps abreast with industry trends and observes competitors for pricing and new product lines
Recommends sales programs to further improve sales performance
Manages and monitors the Budget of brands assigned
Performs Store Visits (offline and online) and conducts a competitive analysis
