POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand Marketing Officer shall report directly to the CEO and/or Operations Head of Tesoros. He/She shall be tasked to lead the development and execution of strategies, campaigns and activities that will strengthen the Tesoros brand, create market demand for its products, attract inquiries and purchases through its various sales channels, and encourage repeat purchase from customers.
To achieve these objectives, the Brand Marketing Officer shall oversee the following functions: market research and planning, creatives and content production, online store management (tesoros.ph), social media management, marketing support for store and operations, marketing partnerships, CRM database management and monitoring/analytics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop, protect and uphold Tesoros brand to ensure its continuous effectiveness and relevance in achieving the company's business goals
2. Create, develop and implement marketing strategies, plans and campaigns that will achieve Tesoros business and sales objectives
3. Prepare and monitor marketing budgets and actual spends
4. Manage the daily operations and workload of the marketing team in ways that will ensure efficient workstreams and promote institutionalization of systems and processes
5. Conceptualize, direct and manage the production of all types of marketing collaterals and materials such as but not limited to digital multimedia formats, flyers, store display, posters, brochures, packaging, signates, etc.
6. Conceptualize and manage activities, events, partnerships, and/or collaborations with relevant creators, enterprises, publications or influential personalities
7. Manage work and outputs of Tesoros' third-party suppliers and sales/marketing partners (production suppliers, logistics providers, e-commerce platform, etc.)
8. Develop, manage and progressively enhance Tesoros' online store (tesoros.ph) to ensure the platform's effectiveness in achieving set sales targets
9. Manage Tesoros' social media (Facebook and Instagram) and other digital assets which includes the following areas:
a. Content development (timely posting in feeds and stories of multimedia material with copy)
b. Community management (respond to comments and inquiries, create and implement community rules)
c. Analytics (track and report number of followers, engagements per posts, recommendations how to improve social media efforts)
d. Boosting management (identify targeting parameters for boosting, manage boosting budget, report outcome of boosting efforts)
10. Manage advertising placements supported by sufficient justifications and budget proposals
11. Grow, build and manage customer database
12. Ensure that all marketing activities and executions, especially those that feature customers or done in collaboration with other artists/personalities, are compliant with national and local laws (e.g., data privacy act, intellectual property, local advertising regulations) and relevant marketing practices and ethical standards
13. Prepare relevant reports and present these reports with recommendations during strategic and alignment meetings
14.Performs other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Preference will be given to those with relevant BA degrees:
1. Marketing
2. Business Management
3. Advertising
4. Communication
5. Multimedia Arts and related disciplines
OTHER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. At least 3- to 5-year experience in related fields particularly in e-commerce and/or digital marketing
2. Excellent oral, written, and organizational communication skills
3. Excellent project management
4. A good working knowledge of MS Office applications and/or design applications - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator - and of new media and film production applications
5. A flair for creative design and awareness of design trends and best practices, supported by practical experience and a quality portfolio of work
6. Proficiency in creative, multimedia and publishing publications is an advantage
