Reporting to: Branch Finance Manager
Branch Finance Supervisor
The position will assist the Branch Finance Assistant Manager in management of Branch Finance operations. The position is in-charge of the overall supervision of branch accounting and reporting. Ensures that all Company assets are safeguarded and properly accounted for.
What will you do?
Generate, review and submit periodic reports to Branch Finance Manager (i.e., Sales and Sales Returns, Collections & Remittances, AR Ageing, Acountability Reports, Promo Liquidations, Bank Reconcilitation, Inventory Reconciliation). Ensure that received salesman reports are updated in the system.Inform Regional Sales Manager and BFM on violations/delays in transactions recording.
Review results of reconciliation of branch warehouse physical inventory count in coordination with Supply Chain.Ensure completenes of inventory transactions in the system.Monitor and review branch inventory ageing report as basis for inventory provision recommendation.Review and release of Branch Regular (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) Reports.
Consolidate weekly and monthly summary of salesman accountability.
Short/Over in stocks
Short/Over in remittances
Chargeable bad orders
Resigned Salesman's Final Accountability
Monitor and ensure timely resolution of exception reports on any suspected/proven irregularity of the salesmen and violations of company policies/directives as identified by BFA.Communicates to RSM, FSS, and BFM any suspected/proven irregularity via Exception Reports Summary. Initiates spot audit of salesmen or any branch employee with suspected/proven irregularity. Obtain status of overdue branch accounts receivables.
Supervise Branch Finance Associates.
Train new associates.
Cascade Sales Finance directives
On-the-job coaching
Monitor inventory level of accountable forms based on branch requirements via accountable forms inventory reports and request accountable forms from Head Office, if deemed necessary. Ensure proper filing and archiving of branch documents (e.g. CAF, Used accountable forms, etc.
Coordinate with Fixed Asset Custodian for PPE monitoring and controls.
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Brach Finance Assistant Manager
Who are we looking for?
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or its equivalent.
At least 3 years experience in large multinational company and 1 year in supervisory or OIC role is essential.
The following is an advantage:
Knowledgeable in credit management policies and procedures.
Good understanding of integrated systems (e.g. ERP). Knowledgeable in SAP is an advantage.
Good communication and analytical skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
With MS Excel expertise (Functions / Formula)
Must be flexible, proactive, highly organized and detail oriented
People Management
Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal skills in English and Filipino
