Job Title: Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our Australian clients.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and in compliance with financial policies.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and provide necessary financial information.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports to management.
Stay updated on Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual audits.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with exposure to Australian clients.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, MYOB, Xero, etc.).
Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems.
Experience in handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Knowledge of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements.
