GoTeam is currently seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a keen eye for detail and strong understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate should be proficient with QuickBooks Online and possess good communication skills for corresponding effectively with vendors and our team. The client that you will be working with specializes in nutrition contract management working exclusively with professional sports teams.
In this position, you will be:
Responsible for appropriating invoices and payments to correct accounts in QuickBooks Online
Overseeing orders, invoices, and payments to vendors
Scrutinizing and tracing deposits, payments, and open balances
Consistently tracking and allocating credit card charges and due amounts
Maintaining precise financial logs by ongoing posting and verification
Monitoring expenses, budgets, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other company financial transactions
Delivering timely financial reports (weekly, monthly, yearly) to vendors, clients, and management
Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is desirable for this role.
A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in bookkeeping, coupled with proficiency in QuickBooks Online (2 years of experience), is a prerequisite for this role.
Outstanding attention to detail with proven ability in accurate data entry and record-keeping
Proficient in utilizing QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word
Strong command over accounting principles
Demonstrated capability to create detailed and concise financial reports
Skillful in navigating through a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
Excellent communication skills with an aptitude to liaise effectively with vendors
Seamless adaptation and communication within a remote team
Resourceful, with a confident stance on seeking clarifications when necessary
