Roth&Co, a fast-growing mid-sized Certified Public Accounting firm, is looking for a bookkeeper for our Accounts Payable Department. ?
Duties and responsibilities ?
? * Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
? * Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
? * Reporting to executive management
? * Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
? * Develops system to account for financial transactions
? * Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
? * Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
? * Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries
? * Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
? * Prepares financial reports
? * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
? ?
Minimum qualifications ?
? * 2+ years of related work experience in US Accounting
? * Understanding accounting best practices
? * Problem-solving skills
? * Analyzing Information
? * Time management and multitasking skills
? * Computer proficiency
? * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
? * Professionalism and organization skills
? * Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
? * Willing to work on US schedule and onsite in Makati
