Job Description:
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
Update and maintain the general ledger
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
Recording of debits and credits
Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Bookkeeping, recording of income and expenses.
Preparation of cheques payment and billing statement.
Monitor and track billing to avoid overdue expenses and payables.
Monitor and track billing to ensure timely collection of income and receivables.
Checking and review of computations, attachments, and other details in the billing, receipts or invoice.
Secure required documents before the Release of Cheque Payment, Billing Statement.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, etc.
Ensure proper filing of receipts, invoice, billing statements, and other forms and documents as needed.
Other tasks that may be assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business with an emphasis in Accounting, Bookkeeping
At least 1 year working experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping
Must have knowledge in Bookkeeping/Basic Accounting
Basic accounting knowledge
Understanding accounting best practices
Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, or another accounting framework
Data entry skills
High attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Produce work with a high level of accuracy
Professionalism and organization skills
Associates degree or at least one year of experience
Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other applications
