BookkeeperCheltenham Tax Accountants

This is an exciting role for someone who has the ability to work from home with a strong Internet connection. We are a professional firm of accountants that offer accounting, tax and bookkeeping services for small businesses all around the UK. We have a small team that are aproachable and will be keen to further your development. All of the software and tools we use are online-based bookkeeping apps aswell as office 365 etc.
Your role will provide training on processes and software although ideally you will have specific experience with cloud bookkeeping software. You will look after the day-to-day bookkeeping for small businesses processing receipts and reconciling bank transactions. More experience candidates will also prepare general ledger reviews and assisting with VAT preparation for UK VAT returns.
You will be small part of a small team and we want to invest in someone fpr the long term to grow with our business.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Required language(s): English
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Required Skill(s): Xero experience desirable, Receipt bank experience desirable, Ideally minumum 3 years bookkeeping experience, Accounting experience an advantage, Attention to detail a must, Good attitude (can do)
Must be confident with online software/apps
Must be able to work from home
Must have suitable internet connection (ideally 8mb download and 1mb upload+)
Will ideally work a proportion of your hours between 8am-5 pm UK time (PH time 4pm to 12am). Times can be agreed
