ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper who will support their Office Manager in managing up to 35 employees' schedules, payroll, and field expenses.
SCHEDULE: 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time (11 PM - 8 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Permanent Work from Home set-up
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Enter new customers and estimates into QuickBooks Online (QBO) and create projects
Handle 40% of deposit invoices
Manage accounts receivables
Digitize and file payables and statements
Enter all expense transactions into QBO and include the correct class and/or customer
Prepare financial statements and tax calculations (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
Assist with payroll preparation
Support the preparation of annual tax packages for related entities
Conduct month-end reconciliations and close
Contact AP vendors for missing/incomplete invoicing
Obtain W-9s for all vendors and prepare year-end 1099s and other tax and regulatory filings as needed
Assist with additional tasks as needed such as filing and employee onboarding into QBO
Assist the Operations Manager with special projects and in preparing external reports
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in the related field is preferred
Comfortable with common office technology and programs, such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams), printers/copiers, check scanners, etc.
Experience working in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Must be a self-starter who can work independently
Must have attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Must have strong organizational skills to maintain efficiency standards
Able to address discrepancies and implement corrective processes
Must be a good communicator who enjoys working with a dedicated team
Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have a flexible attitude and approach toward a variety of assignments
Able to accept constructive criticism and give appropriate feedback
Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
