Job Description:Our client is a family-owned freight and logistics business based in Victoria, Australia. They service both regional and metropolitan areas and pride themselves on reliable transport solutions, strong customer relationships, and a supportive team environment.They're now seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper Admin to join their growing team.Key Responsibilities:
Manage proof of deliveries (PODs) and finalise consignments in Transvirtual.
Process payroll weekly using RosterElf.
Prepare and file BAS, IAS, and Superannuation.
Handle ATO communications, payment plans, and compliance requirements.
Maintain bookkeeping records and reconcile accounts in Xero.
Process cash sales, generate invoices, and record payments.
Respond to customer and internal team emails, calls, and WhatsApp messages.
Support general administration and communication tasks.
Requirements:
Strong AU bookkeeping background with Xero proficiency.
Intermediate to advanced computer and admin skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and support a growing business.
Trustworthy, punctual, and accountable team player.
