Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the activities and operations of the NAPC Secretarial preparatory to En Banc meetings of the Commision; including but not limited to the preparation of draft resolutions for the President that are jointly agreed between the basic sector councils on the one hand and the heads of relevant agencies on the other hand;
Supports the BSCAS Director in the formalization of agreements and action plans for agency sectoral council agreements that are already for implementation and no longer requiring further action of the Comission;
Ensures the designation of technical action officers (TAO) of agences that will be the reference points for the sectoral councils and sectoral representatives before and after the meeting of the Commissions.
Exercise iniitative and advices the lead Convenor regarding advocacy and policy implementation challenges pertinent to the social reform and poverty alleviation agenda of the goverment meetings and secure authorization for delevoping and pursing agenda items in the TAO and TAO-NAPC sector meetings so that synergies between agency and sectoral programs and advocacies are achieved ;
Creates inter-agency venues for formuling policy and policy-implementation proposals around cross-cutting outcomes advocated by the sectoral councils;
Formuates NAPC Secretarial action plans for incorporation into bureau and unit plans of the Secretariatl
Generates quarterly reports for the lead convenor on the progress and challenges to executting resolutions of the Commission.
Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
