Billing Operations Analyst - Remote
General Summary:
This position is responsible for all phases of billing administration for complex portfolio of US Public Sector accounts. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, gathering reporting data, producing complex excel templates and validating of invoice data. May require working on weekend, once a month, if necessary to meet strict deadlines of certain clients.
Job Specifications:
Financial analysis experience, required 3-5 years
Advanced Excel experience, required 3-5 years
Complex Billing, required 3-5 years
Oracle Business Suite experience preferred
Ability to interpret complex contracts
Advanced analytical abilities
Very strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with telecommunications and call center operations a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Invoicing:
Reading and comprehending complex contracts
Interpreting contract requirements and translating those requirements into an invoice template. Strong English comprehension and reading comprehension skills are a requirement to successfully execute this responsibility.
Reviewing and validating contract components
Gathering operational data from various reporting systems
Updating & maintaining relevant billing data in financial systems
Validating invoicing data provided by Operations - this will require significant verbal and written communications with Operations. Strong speaking and writing skills are a requirement to successfully execute this responsibility.
Ensure that all charges are billed completely and accurately
Ensure compliance to SOX requirements
Drive operational metrics to positive results
Communicating with Operations staff regarding program specifications.
Spearheading process improvement initiatives to simplify invoicing process.
Maintaining process documentation and compliance with those processes.
Collection Support:
Resolution efforts regarding collection issues related to invoice, process, and review account adjustments, resolve invoice disputes and short/over payments, invoice and payment reconciliations.
