The Opportunity:
OpenText is looking for an IT Billing Analyst, for the MIS Billing Operations Team within the IT organization. As the IT Billing Analyst, you will be focused on providing IT billing support to members of our Billing Application Support Team, Billing Operations Team, and the EBS Software Engineers. You will understand the importance of accuracy and correctness of collecting and providing billing data to business operations and will strive to run and process the monthly cycle and bill run within the timeline and schedule.

The IT Billing Analyst directly supports Billing Operations Team in providing billing support, billing disputes and inquiries, usage reports preparation, session audit reloading, and other similar requests.
The IT Billing Analyst handles the Month-end/Quarter-end/Year-end activities for Galaxy Bill Run, Transform Process, and the IO35 Process in SAP, ELS Collections and Cycle Run, ICC Invoice Creation, Japan Post-Production Process, UK Tradanet(TAMS), Monthly SWEEPS Audit to ensure accuracy and completeness of the billing processes in accordance to the month-end closing schedule.
Run and process the daily billing data collection for Accounting Modules, Star/PAR, Easy Link Services Daily Rating, and UK Biller.
Help and provide support to the Billing Application Team with the review and audit of the daily MIS Daily Logs, MS Classic Error Reporting, UK Biller Daily Activity.
Run and process the weekly Business Grid Extract.
Work and complete the MIS tasks on the scheduled weekend Maintenances.
Run the monthly scheduled Purging Process
Enable and support Billing Coordinators and Billing Representatives through collaboration with internal customers in investigating and resolving technical billings inquiries and customer disputes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Identifying, reporting, and resolving billing operations issues through root cause analysis
Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions
What it takes:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and business-related work experience totaling 3-5 years
2+ years' experience working with SAP or a similar ERP for AR and Billing.
Experience using Excel to perform billing data operations, e.g. working with billing data types, vlookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.
Knowledge or experience in SQL is an asset.
Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge or experience using any one of ITSM, OpenAir, or cloud biller systems is an asset
Should have a good understanding of finance business processes. With the ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently
Should be able to provide ideas and suggestions on improving the process.
