Perform logical and physical design of reporting data marts, and develop associated ETL processes using tools such as Amazon Redshift, SAS BI software, SQL Server stored procedures, SSIS, and Python
Work with business interests, BI developers, and healthcare analysts in creating business intelligence structures to facilitate data and KPI access and visualization.
Administer SAS and Tableau reporting servers
Work with business interests, BI developers, and healthcare analysts in refining and documenting data needs
Define reporting dashboards and other data visualizations with specialized BI applications
Define data sources and business rules within SAS metadata
Enact data standards in accordance with data governance initiatives Protect member's personal health information by limiting report content and access where appropriate
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline. Master's degree or relevant software certifications (SAS, Microsoft, TIBCO, AWS, TDWI)
4+ years data warehousing in SQL Server and/or AWS Redshift
4+ years SQL query development
4+ years report development • 2+ years SAS programming
2+ years working with health care data including but not limited to medical and pharmacy claims, member eligibility, revenue, risk adjustment, and provider data Other Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of ETL tools and SQL stored procedures. Redshift or SSIS knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Advanced Data Visualization software, Tableau or Spotfire preferred
Experience with analytics in a data warehouse environment • Strong grasp of statistical concepts
Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications Excellent project management and consultative skills
