Job Description:
 
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing banquet operations, ensuring smooth event execution, excellent service delivery, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate with the banquet team and deliver high-quality events.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all banquet operations including setup, service, and breakdown.
Ensure events are executed according to client expectations and company standards.
Work closely with the Banquet Manager, kitchen staff, and other departments for seamless operations.
Train, guide, and monitor banquet staff in proper service techniques and event procedures.
Oversee table settings, food presentation, and cleanliness of the venue.
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns professionally.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
Assist in staff scheduling and work assignments.
Support the company's cost-efficiency and waste reduction programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field (preferred).
With 3-5 years of experience in catering as Banquet Supervisor.
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
