Context of the role
The Treasury team is responsible for all aspects of International Cash & Liquidity Management, Cashflow forecasting, Working Capital management and Foreign Exchange. You will be part of a friendly team-based environment that values interaction and exchange of ideas and knowledge.
This new Bank Account Analyst role is based in the Singapore office, reporting to the Banking Relationship Manager and working closely with the rest of the team in Singapore, Nairobi and Paris.
This role offers an opportunity to learn and advance in a fast-paced work environment with challenging, multi-faceted assignments, and an ability to gain in-depth knowledge of key business drivers and industry dynamics.
Position purpose & Key responsibilities
You will assist the Banking Relationship Manager in the following functions:
New Banking Relationships
Coordinate the onboarding of new banking partners (operational accounts and banking network partner accounts). This includes coordinating the completion of all application forms, gathering of supporting documentation, obtaining sign-off from Legal and Compliance on all agreements and T&Cs and complying with internal policies, collecting signatures, and maintaining archives of all documentations.
Maintain Existing Banking Relationships
Manage existing relationships and on-going maintenance of the documentation, the company profile and registered information with banking partners
Manage ad-hoc bank account related queries both internally and externally and assess the needs of the business
Monitor account user access to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
Ensure Bank Accounts are maintained properly, such as representatives and signers are to up to date
Maintain close relationships with the Network and Business Development teams to gather necessary information in relation to Bank Account Management.
Experience & Technical skills required
The candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant working experience operating within a corporate or financial services' Treasury functions and bank account management.
Strong organizational skills to deliver desired results
Demonstrated analytical decision-making skills and a team player
The role involves working in a dynamic and challenging global environment. The successful candidate will be tenacious, resilient, flexible, able to accommodate tight deadlines on short notices.
Experienced and understanding of treasury terminologies including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financials
Knowledge of Payment Systems (SWIFT, SEPA, etc.)
Highly proficient in Microsoft office and adobe applications
