Job Description
We are in need of an exceptional Azure Engineer to join our rapidly growing in-house Technology team. If you are a driven engineer looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career and help the business deliver value to customers as well as internal stakeholders, then this is the job for you!
As a capable, motivated self-starter, you will hit the ground running with your outstanding Azure development skills, enabling system integration and automation and contribute to the Azure engineering practice of the company going forward.
This role will be joining our Operations squad and will be working on initiatives critical to the business.
As part of this role you will:
Be responsible for developing and maintaining integration solutions, including REST APIs, Event Driven/Queue based integrations and service orchestrations.
Be accountable for the code quality and delivery of all your work
Collaborate with the cross-functional squad to ensure that all requirements are fully understood and the delivered work will meet the desired business outcomes
Ensure data integrity and security in accordance with the organisation policies
Contribute to continuous improvement in development standards and practices, quality and release management
Engage in Agile software development activities including team sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Qualifications
We would love to hear from Azure Engineer who:
Have a good understanding of Azure integration technologies and can demonstrate proven experience projects that are operational and supporting the business
Be comfortable supporting and monitoring azure integration solutions that are operational for the business
Have a good overall understanding of Azure hosting infrastructure
Be comfortable working in a small, cross-functional development team using Agile delivery
Have the ability to write high-quality and well-documented code, adhering to best practices at all times.
Technical skills required to best perform in the role:
2+ years experience working with Azure integration technologies, including Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Service Bus, Logic Apps & Power Automate, SQL
Professional Microsoft training and/or certification preferred
Experience in JavaScript, NodeJS, Typescript or similar engineering languages
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Experience with branching and merging strategies and release management in GIT
Comprehension of authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
Experience developing automation tests a plus

Our teams are currently working from home, however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate your home working the environment is as follows:
conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
main internet: wired internet of at least 5mbps
reliable back up internet: at least 3mbps speed
