Job Description
The AVP for Investments is responsible for the development of financial analysis, forecasts, and valuation studies for use in the development of financial and operational business decisions. Guided by the FACTLC Compass, the AVP Finance, Investments should be able to extend executive support through strategic business partnering.
Key Focus Areas:
Performing investment analysis and performance, mid- to long-range strategic planning, and capital raising exercises
Providing financial advisory to Executive Management of Food Group, CEO, COOs, Country Directors
Understanding, assessing and advising on the viability of strategic initiatives across One Food Group
Developing financial models and investment cases in collaboration with in-country Finance teams
Continuously developing technical investment analysis across One Food Group through continuous organizational learning
Qualifications
Education and Licenses:
● A graduate of any of the following degree: Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Industrial Engineering.
● Being a CPA is an advantage
● Strong preference for MBA/CFA charter holders
Experience:
● At least 5-7 years of investment banking/ transaction advisory/deal advisory experience with a top tier bank or Big Four with involvement in M&A transactions, Due Diligence and Capital Raising
● Advance analytical, financial modeling a valuation skills
● Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
● Exceptional knowledge and interest in finance, economics, banking, and capital markets
● Strong project management skill and work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence
● Strong leadership skills with displayed desire in building teams and career advancement
● With exposure in other areas of Corporate Finance such us Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury
● Capacity to work well in a fast paced, changing environment with a high level of flexibility and minimal supervision
● Willing to travel and work with colleagues from the different operating sites in the Philippines and abroad
● Proven ability to take control and manage tasks independently to closure
● Demonstrated self-starter, continuous learner and independent thinker who is results-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others
