Primarily responsible for creating and implementing innovative automated testing methodologies and toolsets into our overall development processes to complement and enhance the Client's current Quality Assurance processes.
Defines and prepares automated test cases while reviewing product requirements, and functional and design specifications.
Implements and maintains automated test triggering using the current integration and delivery solution to ensure all code deployments are of high quality.
Develops a deep understanding of the project, product, and testing objectives through communicating with product management, project management, and development teams.
3+ years in similar Automation Test Engineer roles
Highly proficient in one or more Test Automation open sources frameworks, like Selenium and Appium
Experience in Credit cards applications ( CMS, Authorizations, Clearing, and Settlement, Working with simulator tools like VTS, MAS, MCPS, etc.)
Understanding of TSYS Prime and Prime online tools
Proficiency with APIs and tools like SoapUI and Postman
Experience in System Integration testing and UI/UX validation testing
Understanding of Web applications and Channel Testing
Has a better understanding of manual software testing processes and experience in an Agile environment
Extensive knowledge in setting up and using systems like JIRA, defect tracking, Confluence, Share point, MS Office, etc.) for tracking purposes to ensure traceability among test cases, code, and requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
