Job Description:
 
An automation engineer is an individual who improves the efficiency of various manufacturing and computer systems by automating certain parts of the systems to do work on their own. They revise existing technology so that it requires less human interaction, and they monitor the performance of the changes they make. Sometimes, an automation engineer may design entirely new technology to automate a system. Automation engineers can be traditional engineers who work with physical machines or software engineers who work with programming languages.
 
Responsibility
 
As a Automation Engineer, it is your main duties and responsibilities to:
Establishing new and maintaining existing, relationship with customer.
Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
Making technical presentation and demonstrating how product will meet client needs
Offering after-sales support services
Creates revenues for the company
Perform installation, services and trouble-shooting on site
Conduct interim on-site inspection for all deployed equipment's
Analyzed customer's requirements and provide concept design in terms of mechanical and automation aspects
Communicate with clients about requirements
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency with automation
Research and design automation technology
Create a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs
Develop tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended
Establish monitoring and QA processes
Investigate defects or errors in the technology
Qualification:
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering or its equivalent
At least a year of experience in Automation and Mechanical Design
Good knowledge of the software development process, especially the software testing process.
Possess strong analytical skills, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and with teamwork spirit.
Male
Preferably 1-4 Years Experienced Employee at boar repair and equipment's.
Mechanical Skills:
 
PLC and other PC Base Controls Programming
Teaching /modifying stepper position points and motion profiles/speeds between points in existing programs
Teaching servo/stepper motor new programs for new parts or methods
Experience using ladder logic programming to accomplish varying tasks within a PLC system.
Experience using code to manipulate and check IO signals to accomplish tasks within an automated system.
Experience in Ardruino Programming
Knowledge in C#, C++, Visual Basic and other programming language
Fixturing
Experience with automatic (pneumatic, hydraulic) clamping and their controls
Troubleshooting
Ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical, pneumatic systems to find and correct errors and failures
Skills using a Digital multimeter to test for voltage/continuity/resistance
Ability to use scientific method to find the root cause of complex problems
Electrical Experience
Experience with 24VDC PLC and IO systems and common practice
Ability to accurately follow schematics to wire systems into PLC terminal strips and sensors/other equipment.
Familiarity with common practices of wiring, cable glands, crimping, soldering types of cable
Knowledge of how Inputs and Outputs are physically connected into a PLC or robot controller
Knowledge of different types of discrete vs. analog sensors
Understanding of servo motor/encoders and how they track motor positions for both new installations and maintenance of current systems.
Computer Skills
 
CAD/DESIGN
Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar, Inventor preferred.
Ability to draw sheet metal and machined parts and understand the tolerance and possibility of each
Understanding of machining tolerances
Experience with 3D printing is a bonus.
Exposure to a manufacturing environment with knowledge of what common machines are capable of.
