The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading QA automation efforts for a set of services (micros-services-based architecture). QA Lead would define the automation plan including the test data plan and guide individual developers following a TDD approach to writing appropriate test cases. Verification of the work done & ensuring 100% TDD coverage is also part of the role.
Job Description
Your job duties include the following tasks and responsibilities:
(a) Analysis of product requirements and backlog. Understand and define QA Automation Requirements from Product Requirements.
(b) Design the Technical Solution to be deployed for Automated QA using Test NG.
(c) Provide proof of concept or sample tests as needed.
(d) Oversee a team of 3-5 developers for to ensure TDD development.
(e) Write and review Test Cases in Test NG.
(f) Good understanding of best practices in a TDD scenario.
(g) Ensure high quality (bug free, efficient and production grade code) codebase with the help of automated testing.
(h) Leverage Jira, TestNG, Bitbucket and Git for day-to-day work.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience with Automated Testing using Test NG.
Experience with Java and one more programming language (JavaScript is preferred).
