Our External Audit Supervisor and Manager roles in PwC's core assurance services provided to clients is to:
Take ownership of portfolio of engagements, assigning work to team members and reviewing their work prior to completion and delivery back to customers;
Understand the service delivery model and the suite of services provided by their assigned service delivery team and understand how workflow is managed within the AC Manila's workflow management tool ;
Participate in training, coaching and other developmental opportunities for Analysts and Associates on your team and across other teams, where necessary;
Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by leading your team effectively, proactively providing guidance, clarification and feedback to your direct team members and teams across the group, and contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with superiors and subordinates alike.
Participate in a wide range of projects; consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative.
Qualification Requirements
Educational Background:
Supervisor & Manager: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
Certification/s:
Supervisor & Manager: Professional accounting certification such as CPA, CA or equivalent is required.
Years of Work Experience
Supervisor: At least 4 years relevant work experience in assurance, tax, accounting and/or analysis work, with the last year in a supervisory role.
Manager: At least 6 years' experience in assurance with the last year being in a manager role.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Supervisor & Manager:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven record of success as a team leader and team member within the Assurance practice of a global network of professional services consulting firm.
Other Capabilities:
Supervisor & Manager:
Should be comfortable working and communicating with team members at all levels including senior management;
Ability to coach subordinates in the development of their career and skills;
Be a lateral thinker and comfortable in leading and guiding team members as necessary
