Primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of audit services by his/her team to assigned operating units through leadership and supervision in accordance with the organization's philosophy and policies and in compliance with the rules and regulations on audit standards and best practices.
Supervises the team in conducting risk assessment which
includes but not limited to the following * Review risk score summary, list of priority auditable areas, and supporting documents on the assigned auditable entities
Develop risk-based annual audit plan for the assigned auditable entities detailing the following:
a. Scope;
b. Nature;
c. Timing of Audit;
d. Auditor Assignments; * Supervises the team in executing the investigation procedures embodied in the Internal Audit Investigation Request Policy as endorsed.
Reviews Special Audit Report and annexes submitted by assigned auditor relevant to results of the investigation conducted.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce major in Accounting or equivalent course
Preferably Certified Public Accountant or with professional certificate in Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), etc.
At least four (4) years work experience in internal/external audit
At least two (2) years experience in supervisory function
Auditing experience in an automotive indestry is an advantage
Ability to apply risk based audit methodology in different perspective; financial and operational
Problem identification and solution skills
Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
