Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Assist in planning audit tasks by gathering and organizing data and documentation.
Perform basic audit procedures, including vouching, tracing, and reconciliations.
Conduct substantive testing and analytical reviews under supervision.
Verify financial data and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
Assist in documenting the audit process and preparing audit findings
Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports that clearly reflects the audit observations and findings
Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data
May work for longer hours during the audit period in order to meet targets and schedules
Assist in the reconciliation of all government reports and tax returns and ensure the accuracy of computation and completeness of the information
Do a thorough analysis of the audit reports and findings to come up with ways on how the organization generate more profits and reduce cost.
Verify, analyze, and inspect customer accounts receivable and payable subsidiary ledgers and general ledger for the accuracy and completeness
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related field
At least 2-years' experience in the field of accounting and/or audit
Preferably with experience in Tax Compliance such as preparation of Tax fillings, Books vs. Tax Returns reconciliations bad year - end external audit
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required
Computer Literate; Proficient in Microsoft applications
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Possess strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Team player and possess high problem-solving abilities
