About the Audit Section Head Role:
This Audit Section Head manages the team by effectively designating audit engagements for the head office units of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops a comprehensive risk based audit plan that covers internal and external regulatory requirements and sends it to the Department Head for submission to the Chief Audit Executive
Monitors the implementation and monitors the team's annual audit plan including regular, spot and special audits
Sets the direction for the team and develops the strategies to improve the quality and timeliness of audit fieldwork and reporting
Provides recommendation for process or control improvements for the business units
Coaches, trains, and supports subordinates to meet their objectives
To succeed in this Audit Section Head role, you must have the ability to manage teams effectively and prioritise tasks under pressure.
Key Requirements:
CPA with at least eight years' technical audit knowledge skills and experience, three years of which managing an audit team
Expertise in end-to-end risk-based audit methodology, review, reporting and recommendation
Strong people and influencing skills
