This is a remote position.
Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements for the Board and other key stakeholders monthly or as required for all Corporate entities
Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and determine solutions to business and financial problems
Prepare Cash flow, GST / FBT and other statutory reporting as required
Monitor, manage and support taxation issues within the practice
Research complex tax law and communicate findings to clients and/or stakeholders
Support Manager in the performance of their duties
Prepare individual, company, partnership, trust and sole-trader tax returns in line with lodgement deadlines
Prepare IAS / BAS for financial reporting and client services
Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and submission of returns for clients by the deadline
Promptly informs the Manager of any issues with accounts
Maintains and builds a supportive and effective team culture
Upholds and promotes the firm's values
Maintains the highest ethical and professional standards.
Requirements
Accounting Degree
At least 3 + years' experience in AU Accounting
Intermediate Skills with XERO,
Intermediate Word and Excel skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
