As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Associate partners are leaders within C&SI, aligned to a particular competency or industry segment for their given geo. Their role focuses working closely with clients, building strong relationships and driving new opportunities and sales.
Industry associate partners are recognized thought leaders within their industry and demonstrate this through white papers, presenting at industry events and creating new offerings based on their knowledge and expertise.
They work across key accounts in the industry, showing an understanding of the particular trends, challenges and requirements driving strong client trust and relationships. They must leverage the competencies and skills across SBU as well as across other parts of IBM.
The role responsibilities are defined and scored across four key areas: Financial, Client, People and Growth and Internal Operations.
Financial
Be responsible for driving new opportunities and signings within the industry
Be responsible for overseeing and driving delivery of revenue within the industry
Ensure delivery is achieved on projects at a margin of 35%
For key industry clients, be personally involved in the solutioning and sales cycle, helping to close complex, cross brand deals
Client
Drive high client satisfaction (NPS) by driving delivery excellence and identifying and resolving delivery issues
Take accountability for complex delivery of projects both across competencies and business lines
Build strong client relationships resulting in the attainment of client references and citations
People and Growth
Lead project teams by setting direction, communicating, and modeling leadership behaviors
Drive community participation and engagement to help increase pride and positive work experiences that lead to advocating IBM as a great place to work
Apply positive leadership, creating a workplace culture that enables employees to thrive and deliver exceptional results
Commit to coaching and enable meaningful work for practitioners through a culture of feedback and project assessments
Become a recognized industry thought leader through the writing of whitepapers and speaking at industry engagements
Develop methods and offerings based upon understanding of client requirements and industry expertise, anticipating future developments
Provide assets to the knowledge management team to help enable the wider SBU

Improve utilization of delivery practitioners on accounts, including a personal utilization of 75% between billable and bid & proposal work
Be responsible for capacity management and hiring of appropriate resources
Take personal responsibility for completion of administrative tasks and business controls
Leverage the skills of the GID team and the competencies as required on engagements
Work with sales and solutioning team on the production of SOW and DOUs that both meet the client need and set the delivery team to be successful
APAC_Security
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Deep technical understanding across cybersecurity domains - Cloud Security, Data & Application Security, Incident Response, Security Intelligence and Operations / Threat Management / Digital Trust
Ability to identify emerging cyber trends, threat landscape and technological innovation that adds value to clients
Prior experience managing delivery of cybersecurity services for a client / account or group of accounts and managing C-level stakeholders.
Atleast 4+ yrs experience in leading a portfolio of accounts in excess of 10M and proven Y/Y signings/revenue growth
Relevant Cybersecurity Industry Credentials would be an added advantage
Published security articles/thought leadership material for cybersecurity in various business publications
Overall significant Cybersecurity experience of atleast 10+ years and in leadership roles
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
