Job Description:
Prepare and analyze market performance
Study and develop financial models for diesel and other supply portfolio
Analyze and verify financial transactions
Understand the dynamics of the electricity spot market and be able to identify key market drivers
Understand the dynamics of commodity index prices and assist in fuel management, procurement, and planning
Present conclusions based on data to management and to other key stakeholders concisely
Support the unit in risk management and portfolio cost management
Perform other research and analytic responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Management Engineering, Business, Economics, Engineering, or any other related fields
At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in power companies or any related field
Able to work with large data sets using MS Excel or any other spreadsheet software
Able to demonstrate data analysis/modelling and interpretation skills and mathematical prowess (expect test during the recruitment process)
Experience working with Tableau is a plus
Exceptional problem solving and analysis skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong organization skills, ability to track and manage multiple tasks
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, critical thinker, hardworking, and honest
