As the Associate Manager, Logistics Transportation, you are responsible to lead all ANZ and North Asia transport team for daily operations of Export and Import activities to ensure all operations are adhere to laws, guidelines, and logistics SOP. You are required to liaison with the Logistics operations, Planning, Logistics Procurement, and other SC Johnson (SCJ) internal stakeholder to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction initiatives, meet aggressive budget expectations, and economize/right-size the transport fleet
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure on-time delivery and on-time arrival of all Export and Import from and to ANZ and North Asia clusters
Achieve the Container Utilization Target for all Import shipments and no sales lost due to Export and Import activity by using the correct shipping line that has been appointed
Lead the team to develop deep functional and sustainable capabilities in operations and on all Cost Saving Project to achieve the cost saving target
Work closely on the alignments with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs
Guide and coach the team on the Lean Certification Project and participating in all New Product Development Project in all Region for those that will produce in ANZ and North Asia or to be distributed
Provide analysis, insight, and predictive measures into logistics performance and business impact as well as manage monthly supplier review management, internal and external audit
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
Minimum 8 years experiences in logistics and transportations or relevant field
Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, preferably in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
