As the Associate Manager, BPT Infrastructure & Ops (Modern Technology Operations & Governance Lead), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all operational aspects of IT services and SLAs for Cloud and Hosting services. You will develop and maintain KPIs for Cloud Economics and Governance for executives and operational teams and also establish relationships with strategic public and hybrid cloud vendors to acquire knowledge develop partnerships and collaborate on operational solutions and technology acquisitions. You will also be managing and providing current usage statistics and providing future projected growth estimates along with input into SCJ Operational strategies and budgets. You will own and participate in problem, incident, change management processes for Operation Services and provide consultation to business partners on improving service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Management and Governance
Manage day to day optional risks and challenges
Partner with SCJ suppliers to create efficiency by effectively managing the KPIs (Vendor Management)
Drive shift left and automation within Platform Services engineering to Operations
Act as an escalation point, resolve conflicts, participates and drive incident, change and problem management processes
Drive Cloud Economics within IT including governance around tagging, billing accounts
Showback and Charge back for public cloud cost
Cost management using PowerBI and Azure cost management tool
Capacity management, forecasting, reporting of cost consumption and keep a track of overall Server & Storage towers (Open system, backup, storage, Wintel, Azure) capacity requirements
Produce weekly report of capacity consumed vs available
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelors in Information Technology or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in operational support of cloud and on-premises distributed, open system environments and backup and storage technologies
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud billing, invoicing and Power BI reporting within Azure and Google platforms
Experience in ITIL concepts and service delivery framework
Working knowledge of at least one scripting tools (PowerShell, Terraform, Perl, UNIX shell, etc.)
