Job Description:
Position/Role Name: Associate 2, Reinstatement
Role Summary:
The position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of reinstatement applications for Life (traditional and VUL) and Pre-need.
Main Responsibilities:
1] Appraises applications for reinstatement of Traditional & Variable Universal Life (VUL) policies and Pre-Need plans in accordance with the company's guidelines and procedures.
2] Provides accurate reinstatement costs and list of requirements to advisors and clients.
3] Reviews/analyses payments credited in outstanding disbursement account processes them accordingly.
4] Processes refund of reinstatement deposits due to non-submission of requirements or declined/postponed underwriting decision.
5] Handles, reviews and resolves inquiries falling within one's level of authority either through Salesforce, telephone, e-mail, counter and correspondence in a timely, accurate, professional and courteous manner.
6] Refers non-speedy requests/transactions to underwriter for appraisal. Ensures that all related data in the systems have been reviewed and checked before endorsing the case to underwriting
7] Handles various reinstatement-related projects such as system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
