The Technology Risk Assistant Manager works with their peers and the TRM Team to analyse the technology risk landscape and produce reports of emerging and actual risks and issues.
Responsibilities:
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will be responsible for performing thematic reviews and deep dives of Information Technology issues from internal and external sources across Citibank franchises to identify common themes of actual or emerging IT risks across the Asia Pacific region.
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will research and document current technology risk management trends from various internal and external sources to identify risks that could, if not mitigated, impact Citigroup franchises across the Asia Pacific Region.
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will drafting reports for review by the Technology Risk Management leads and eventual circulation to country technology risk forums. The The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will be responsible for circulating reports for review by independent risk management.
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will apply their problem finding skills to identify common themes across issues.
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will apply their problem solving skills to suggest plausible solutions to risk and issues and be able to defend their suggested solutions against initial challenges.
The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will analyse a multitude of scorecards/performance management tools in an attempt document Citi's technology risk landscape.
Develops and maintains relationships across the Lines of Defense to better understand and deliver customer requirements by responding to changes in the internal and external business environment.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years experience navigating and networking across an enterprise utilizing internal and external resources; technology experience preferred
Attributes:
Experience in technology risk management in a large and complex critical infrastructure organisation, including financial services
Knowledge and experience in technology and outsourcing related regulatory & compliance landscape and standards as well as ISO27000 and NIST
Knowledge of key technology management processes, including Change, Incident and Problem management
Excellent problem solving, stakeholder engagement and evaluative judgement skills
Strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail
Business writing experience and effective written and verbal communication skills essential.
Preference to work as part of a team where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, coupled with the ability to work autonomously to get the job done
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree
Team members will cover the four pillars of the TRM Framework (Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Mitigation and Reporting), share learnings from issues and risks across countries, drive the adoption a consistent governance practices across APAC countries.
Each team member will
Champion and advocate global solutions to local regulatory requirements, minimize country addendums to global policies
Coordinate responses where multiple sectors are involved, and cross sector coordination is applicable and beneficial Facilitate Country TRM meetings (the frequency of the meetings will be at consistent with any existing TRM meetings)
Create briefing papers for Country O&T Head to table at Country Board Meetings and Regional O&T Head to table to Regional Exco Meeting for TRM
Drive risk governance and reporting towards simplicity and clarity using the global Tech Risk Appetite Metrics
The Technology Risk Assist Managers will play an essential role within the team. The Technology Risk Assistant Manager will be expected to evaluate potential risks and exposures in Technology, and determine how to effectively minimise those risks by developing realistic and achievable responses, using global strategies and frameworks, to country and regional concerns.
