Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages the overall activities of a technical team consisting of engineers, technicians and other qualified individuals.
Develops and maintains strong customer and partner interface skills
Champions initiatives to resolve critical processes and technology-related issues
Cultivates career development of staff members through coaching, training, performance evaluations and appropriate job assignments
Practices teaming and negotiation skills to achieve performance goals and business improvements
Provides operational and troubleshooting advice as needed
Provides project oversight to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Assures individual project accomplishments and overall work effectiveness are achieved relative to committed objective
Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Reviews customer specifications and requirements, and may lead a project team to develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
Stay abreast of and educate others on new product information. Maintains and increases technical knowledge and competence in company products and services.
Attend appropriate customer or business meetings

Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Master's degree in a technical field strongly preferred.
3+ years of industry experience in functional leadership roles, including experience of exercising technical judgment at the level of a practicing engineer.
Expert knowledge and broad understanding of security products and services.
Strong organization, project management and communication skills and ability to make professional presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to travel when and if necessary.
