The Assistant (Station Accounting - Daily Sales Report ) monitors the inventory variances, sales volume, and cash shortages of 10-16 retail stations of the company. The position is responsible for performing accounting adjustments in the system and works with other departments for the financial data needed in decision-making impacting the Company's retail station segment of the business.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Records the sales and inventory of the company in the accounting system.
2. Daily communication with the station heads for updates and the submission of the errors encountered for the daily shift reports.
3. Coordinates with the Electronic Funds Transfer Incoming (EFTI) operators or the 3rd Parties Operator that manages the stations for the daily sales transactions.
4. Performs accounting adjustment and inventory transfer. Facilitates monthly Inventory and Receipts Reconciliation.
5. Creates reports and interprets daily sales data of the retail stations
6. Attends project-related daily and/or weekly meetings where the department is involved.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a four-year course relating to Bachelor of Science in Accounting or any Accounting Related Course
Adept in project management and financial analysis.
Demonstrates strong strategic and creative thinking skils, presentation skills, problem solving skills, leadership skills, people skills, etc.
Above average verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).
