Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of Web-enabled and client/server applications
Manage or mentor the subordinates (junior to mid-level developer support) and peers if needed
Ensure adherence to SLA
May act as an escalation point where difficult or controversial calls are received.
Offer analyst support and handle resulting incidents or service request in line with team's objectives.
Provides IT support to customers under Shared Services unit
Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
Minimum years experience for this position
I04 (Systems Specialist ) - Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Preferably a developer that support and maintain web enabled applications.
Knowledge of IT service desk tools and best practices.
Application Development and Support background (Production support, maintenance, Application enhancements). Willing to do Application Support
Experience in the following: Client Side and Server Side Scripting, Client & Server API's development, GUI Design, and context management system
Willing to be assigned / trained with any software platform.
With work experience in the following technical Skills: JAVA 8, Spring MVC/Boot, Hibernate, Eclipse IDE, MSSQL
Nice to have / Secondary Skills:
Exposure to Desktop Support, machine inventory, software license Management
Technical Skills in the following: Web Service / SOAP / REST
POI / Quartz scheduler
JSF / Primefaces
Strong coordination, organization and interpersonal skills.
Customer focus and ability to monitor and meet customer expectations continuously.
Experience in multi-culture environment.
Good command of spoken and written English. Competent conversant in English is needed for communication with HK managers and counterparts.
