Check Payable Vouchers as encoded by the Accounting Specialist in the Accounting System.
Prepare wire transfers as requested.
Oversee daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations).
Prepare Daily Summary of Expenses.
Coordinate with the Procurement Department regarding payment requests.
Prepare and file Monthly Taxes Withheld on Suppliers (1601E) and on employees (1601C).
Prepare Monthly & Quarterly VAT.
Prepare Quarterly & Annual Income Tax Return for filing to BIR.
Ensure the updating of fixed assets at the Fixed Assets Register.
Monitor the Monthly Lapsing Schedule of Fixed Assets.
Prepare & submit reports to PEZA like EZMPR, among others.
Coordinate with the Accounting Manager any pending approval of payment requests.
Clarify with the Accounting Manager issues and concerns like unliquidated advances or unreturned documents for billing.
Monitor the movement of all documents.
Monitor the renewal of insurance policies of the company.
Support annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.
Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and preferably CPA.
Proven experience working with minimum 3 years as Accounting Supervisor
Knowledgeable in standard accounting policies and procedures
Must be highly analytical, organized and keen to details
Has problem-solving skills and works with high level of accuracy
