MAIN JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an objective Internal auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Together with the Audit Lead for Philippines and Thailand, the Assistant Audit Lead will partner with the Board of Unilever Philippines to provide reassurance on the risks mitigation procedures of the Company. The role is based in Metro Manila.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Determine Internal Audit scope and develop annual risk-based audit plans with the Board of Directors
Perform and control the full audit cycle, which includes an assessment of the design and operational effectiveness of controls in mitigating identified risks in the Company
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results
Maintain open communication with management to help identify areas for improvement in the organization's control environment
Conduct follow up audits to monitor management's interventions
Implement audit process improvements as needed
Perform risk assessments and mitigation plans for projects
